Why do you think Heidi Klum and her beau Bill Kaulitz dressed as Shrek and Fiona for Halloween this year? The characters are that iconic. 

It's rare for a sequel to perform better than its predecessor, but Shrek 2 packs in double the laughs, double the pop culture references, and double the fairy tale tropes. There's even some social commentary squeezed in there. The millions the animated comedy garnered in box office earnings are well-deserved.
