Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. While the following writings are not scripture (and therefore not ... Read Full Story

The Evolution and Creation controversy. Are we to believe the word of God or man's words? You must decide. Here now is the biblical evidence. The scriptures show us that in Genesis 1:29–30, the original animals and the first humans were commanded to be vegetarian. There were no meat eaters in the original creation. Furthermore, there was no death. It was an unblemished world, with Adam and Eve and animals, to include dinosaurs, living in perfect harmony and eating only plants. The Bible plainly teaches from Genesis to Revelation that there was no death of animals or humans before Adam sinned. (Consider just a few of the many passages, such ... Read Full Story

Benedictions. A benediction (Latin: bene, well + dicere, to speak) is a short invocation for divine help, blessing and guidance, usually at the end of worship service. The Hebrew word for blessing, benediction; b'rakhah, pl. B'rakhahkhot, comes from berekh ("knee"), thus making a connection between worship and kneeling. To "make a B'rakhah" is to say a blessing, to bless. Benedictions are what God does for people. The most famous of all benedictions is probably this one. "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, ... Read Full Story

Today, you can find God and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Jeremiah 29:13 reads, " And ye shall seek me and find me, when ye shall search for me with all you heart ". Psalm 67:1 - "May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us."" (NLT) We often ask ourselves how to be more Godly. How can we be more pleasing to God? Yet, one of the greatest things we have as Christians is to know God's mercy and blessing. There is nothing better than knowing you did something right in God's eyes and feeling his smile upon you. At the same time, we should be using this verse to ask for God...

Part One:  The Apostles’ Creed 8.   “ I Believe in the Holy Spirit” Table of Contents     The best way to understand what we mean by our profession of faith in the Holy Spirit is to compare it with our faith in the Son of God. In God there is intellect and will, corresponding to thinking and loving in human beings. Scripture identifies the mind of God with the Word of God, as St. John tells us: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was...
