A preliminary hearing for the suspect in a series of violent sexual assaults along the East Coast has been delayed.
Aaron H. Thomas, the alleged East Coast Rapist , will not appear in court until March 1, according to the Prince William County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court clerk's office.
A hearing had been scheduled for Wednesday.

The man authorities believe is the East Coast Rapist — responsible for a string of attacks along the East Coast between 1997 and 2009 — could soon be extradited to Virginia, after having been held in Connecticut since his arrest there in March.
Connecticut has decided to extradite 40-year-old Aaron H. Thomas, a prosecutor told the New Haven Register . The state had initially declined to extradite Thomas to Prince William County.
