In my just released book "Think Only Whites Are Racist? Think Again!", I have described East Indians as some of the most vicious racist. Unfortunately since the release of the book, stinking insults and condemnation has flowed in like vomit. I have been accused of being a white apologist. Others have referred to me as an ass kissing son of a gun.

But who ever thinks I am going to back down is dead wrong. Instead, I am going to vigorously defend and reinforce my claim as well as accelerate my fight against all forms of racism and to expose the hypocrisy of those who play both sides of the racism fence. Those who claimed to be victims when hit with racial slur but when it was convenient for them, they perpetuate racism on the own.

To make sense of what I am talking about, please read the following episode from a very popular but repugnant Indian TV commercial promoting a skin lightening cream. The 40 seconds ad depicts a distinguishably dark skin man who has no good fortune with girls. The ad continues with the black skin fellow being handed a skin-lightening product labeled "fair and handsome" along with some mild admonishment from one of India's biggest film stars.

Few weeks later, the poor black fellow has turned lighter-skinned and looks seemingly confident. Then as he strides down the road doing the John Travolta Saturday Night Fever dance moves, girls who have previously shunned him because of his dark skin flocked him; chanting hi handsome, hi handsome. The film star then appears finally into view with the skin-lightening product. The message from the Ad is clear; you have to be fair colored to be handsome or beautiful and more importantly to be accepted. Can any one imagine a white fellow doing such an ad without getting toasted?

But if you think this is an isolated incident think again. A couple of weeks ago, four Indian cricket fans (including a female fan) were charged for allegedly engaging in racist acts against an Australian black player. Indian officials initially tried to sweep the incident under the carpet, dismissing the accusation of racism as a mere "cultural misunderstanding." All this, amid clear evident showing the four taunting and making monkey chants and gestures towards the Australian player.

It is important to note that, Andrew Symonds, the target of the racist abuse is of mixed race origin and therefore himself very much light skinned; in fact far lighter than millions of ethnic South Asians. The bottom line is, if these people can abuse some one like Andrew, you can guess what they would do to a typical blackman.

But which ever way you look at it, this only tip the iceberg of the culture of racism which is deep rooted in South Asia in general, and in India in particular. To get the true sense of what I am talking about, read "Think Only Whites Are Rcaist? Think Again!
