The new Ford Mondeo has been revealed at the Detroit motor show 2012. The grieving family of a pensioner who died following a collision in Crumpsall have paid tribute to him. Anthony Wilding, 72, from Crumpsall, was hit by a blue Ford Mondeo at the junction of Crumpsall Lane and Hermitage Road on Saturday, January 7. He died later in hospital.

Tis the weekend of leaks. After pictures of the 2013 Dodge Dart compact sedan made the internet rounds on Saturday, Czech website Auto Forum posted two blown photos of what they say is the 2012 Mondeo, and which as you already know, won't be any different from the 2013 Fusion that will receive its global premiere at the Detroit Auto Show next week. Three times world F1 racing champion Sir Jackie Stewart played a key part over two years fine-tuning the original prototypes. The Mondeo takes its name from Latinate language variants of ‘world’ – and was originally designed as Ford’s world car.
