Every Thursday, I feature highlights from the Lake Oswego Review Police Blotter. Here are some of my favorites from 2007: A man said that a neighbor lets his dog poop wherever it likes, and doesn’t clean up after it. When police contacted the neighbor, he “denied any wrongpooing.” A woman on Boones Ferry Road just sat there when the light turned green. A man reported a sick squirrel in his neighbor's yard. Police later arrived and discovered that the squirrel had recovered and run off. A...Read Full Story

The group then allegedly separated. Police later determined that they were a group of people walking together wearing back packs, who later separated. A mother phoned police...Read Full Story
I was on my weekly trip to Peets in my pajamas early this morning. On 3rd Street and A Avenue, a white Toyota truck had been broadsided by a gold Volvo wagon. Police had the vehicles encircled with flares, because it was still dark outside. The driver of the truck and the driver of the wagon were standing next to each other, arms crossed, observing the disappointing scene. The truck driver, with his soul patch, wore jeans and a work coat, the silver haired wagon driver was emblazoned in her...Read Full Story
