Chilean Mayor Hands Out Free Viagra

Are you a male, over 60, in need of a little help in the bedroom? Well then, move to Chile! That's right, it seems one Chilean mayor is very interested in improving the health and happiness of his older citizens, starting with their sex lives.

Mayor Gonzalo Navarette Munoz will give men 60 and older, in the working-class suburb of Lo Prado, a chance to get free Viagra. Munoz says he was inspired after working as a doctor in the area and hearing complaints about the poor sex lives of older patients. Old people deserve to have sex too!

Over the next few days, physicians will start dispensing the drugs, and the tab will be picked up by his office (AKA the taxpayers). The program will cost an estimated $20,000 the first year.

Eventually, if all goes well, Viagara will be handed out four times a month, to every man who asks for it and passes a medical exam. Apparantly some 1,500 men have already shown interest in the program. Well, of course. It's not exactly a big surprise that men want to have sex.
