According to Wikipedia.org: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning is a 2006 prequel to New Line Cinema's 2003 film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The film previously had the subtitle The Origin. New Line Cinema had to pay $3 million more than expected in order to keep the franchise in the studio fold after Dimension Films made a pricey deal with original rights holders.

Number 5 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) I've always thought that this movie was the earliest precursor of the "torture porn" movie genre of today and it delivered scares and shock in equal measure. Loosely based on true events, the movie gives us the story of five teenagers who visit a house inhabited by a chainsaw wielding manic and his ...

Our friends over at ShockTillYouDrop have served up the last poster debut of 2008. The poster is for Jonathan Liebesman's The Killing Room, a thriller premiering at Sundance in the Park City at Midnight section. You may recognize Liebesman's name, as he directed Darkness Falls and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and is attached to direct the upcoming Battle: Los Angeles. The film is a psychological thriller about four people who sign up for a research study only to discover that they are now subjects of a brutal, classified government program. Definitely check out this rather interesting poster. Clea DuVall, Timothy Hutton, Nick ...

Well things have been rather windy around here of late. No, not because of my excessive flatulence, but simply gales and the like, which knocked down this absolutely massive tree in my neighbor’s yard. Hurrah, thinks I, because it had long cast huge shadows on my garden, causing the grass to be patchy and my roses to not bloom at their fullest. So this massive tree is now lying across my neighbor's garden, and the one next to that. So my neighbor, Mr X, a nurse in his late thirties, rings my doorbell and says he wants to talk about what we are going ...

These Nike Air Force Ones were designed by Sweatshop Clothing with a theme inspired after one of the most classic horror characters to ever hit the big screen. There have been Freddy and Jason custom sneakers in the past and even some Chucky customs, but one of the villains that Sweatshop Clothing never saw getting much love was Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies. Therefore they decided to take matters into their own hands and give the Sawyer family some love on these Custom Air Force Ones . You can pretty much call these a test run, as a lot of new things ...
