Netflix has done a lot right — Stranger Things, To All the Boys I've Loved BeforeThe Crown, Roma, and Master of None, to name a few. As a matter of fact, in 2018, Netflix tied with HBO for most Emmy nominations. Four of its original shows received at least 10 nods each. That's a big deal for the 12-year-old streamer, especially considering 22 of HBO's nods came from just one series: Game of Thrones. However, every network has its misses, and the 'Flix hasn't been immune to awful reviews. If you, like us, prefer to educate yourself on what to watch in your precious free time, we're here for you.

We compiled Netflix's 40 worst-reviewed TV shows and movies based on reviews from Metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes, and social media. Some critics didn't have kind things to say about a few shows that were popular with viewers at home (cough cough, Fuller House) but this is about reviews, so our apologies to Kimmy Gibbler.
