The 'Jedward' twins were on Sunday voted off the X-Factor, prompting a sigh of relief from bookmakers across the country. John and Edward Grimes, identical twins from Dublin, were forced into yet another singoff on Sunday, this time pitting them against 25-year-old Olly Murs, after a weekend vote by the programme's 16.6 million viewers left the acts in the bottom two places. Alexandra Burke thinks X Factor twins Jedward (John Jedward & Edward Jedward) are funny, but she’s hoping someone else will win. The ‘ Bad Boys ‘ singer won the contest herself last year, and recently performed her hit single live on the show. The Irish pair had divided public opinion Twins John and Edward Grimes have been voted off ITV1's the X Factor, after losing in a sing-off against Olly Murs. The pair, 18 and dubbed Jedward, sang Boyzone's No Matter What, but without a dance routine or any gimmicks.
