Rated PG-13
There's definitely
wishful thinking in the title of the new X-Files movie. Ten years
after the first film and nearly a decade after the finale of the landmark
series we get
The X-Files: I Want to Believe . Fans who
have missed the show and even casual viewers who admired its constant risk
taking and envelope pushing probably want to believe. So... Read Full Story
ACTOR David Duchovny says he wants to see more X-Files films - and a return to the sense of wonder that was a hallmark of the TV series.
Duchovny, 48, is keen to reprise the role of special agent Fox Mulder on the big screen and also believes a new TV show inspired by the X-Files could work well.
He said: "I'm sure that someone else could play [Mulder] but I'd like to play him for a little while longer. I certainly think it's a good idea to try to make another X-Files-oriented show... Read Full Story
"The Truth Is Out There", "Trust No One", "I Want to Believe" The X-Files is an American science fiction television sequence and won in Peabody, Golden Globe, and Emmy Award. The display is glimpsed as a characterizing sequence of the 1990s, coinciding with the era's prevalent mistrust of authorities, interest in conspiracy ideas and spirituality, and the conviction in the reality of extraterrestrial life. In 2007, Time Magazine publication encompassed it on a register of the "100 Best... Read Full Story

Ekaterinburg a town on the eastern slopes of the Urals mountains on the banks of the beautiful Iset river has a Zoo and it seems that employees of the city zoo have named a pair of skunks after the famous TV - FBI agents, the stars of the X-Files series. YES, I really did want to believe. But in the end this movie was so disappointing that I nearly didn't bother to write a review.
The film hasn't done very well at the box office. And it has nothing to do with The Dark Knight's domination. This X-Files movie just isn't strong enough in its own right, never mind being of sufficient quality and power to stand a chance against blockbusters such as the Batman film.
The movie entered both the UK and US box office charts in a lacklustre... Read Full Story
by Brandon Aliens versus monsters! No, this isn't a review of Aliens versus Predator ( two word review; shit sandwich). This is my look at the best of The X-Files. The entirety of The X-Files run was a balance between the "myth-arc" alien conspiracy episodes and the "monster of the week" oriented episodes. Here are my top five episodes of each! Myth-arc/Conspiracy Episodes "Pilot" 1-1 A more perfect pilot may exist out there, but not for my money. This was the perfect introduction to the... Read Full Story

The good news today is that co-star David Duchovny - currently playing sex-obsessed novelist Hank Moody in the TV series Californication - has confirmed he is also willing to return as Fox Mulder.

Over 200 episodes, fans grew to know a lot about Fox
Mulder and Dana Scully on
The X-Files . Since the show's left the air,
however, six years have passed, and many feel that the series ultimately became
too heavy for its own good. There's probably some truth in that; it was
certainly not an easy series to wrap up, like Sam Malone turning to a patron and
saying, "We're closed." Loose ends took a while to braid together.
But after a period of decompression,
The X-Files: I Want... Read Full Story
