Benchmark indices of Indian equities markets struggled to add significant gains this week, even as conditions remained uncertain in economies and bourses around the world. The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) ended 173.02 points or 1.03 percent higher at 17,021.85 points at its weekly close Friday, as opposed to the previous week's close at 16,848.83 points. Overstock.com Inc. said Friday that it received a listing rule violation letter Thursday from the Nasdaq Stock Market related to the recent filing of its third-quarter report. The online retailer said Nasdaq informed the company that its Form 10-Q violated Nasdaq rules because it was not reviewed in accordance with an auditing standard. Nasdaq also told the company its report did not have some certifications required by the Sarbanes-Oxley anti-fraud law.
