NOONWIRE: New iPhone app reports Disneyland wait times
From the Examiner:
A new application for the Apple iPhone will be able to update its users on the current wait times for Disneyland Resort visitors, the Los Angeles Examiner reports.
Created by Brent Pope, this app-called Wait Watchers-relies on iPhone-toting Disneyland visitors to update the application for people wishing to know, for example, the length of the line for Space Mountain.
To authenticate the updates, Wait Watchers uses GPS technology to confirm that the updates come from people who are actually in the park. Additionally, users can interact with other guests to let them know of his or her own experiences.
The new application is available online at Apple’s ’App Store’ for $0.99.
