People has confirmed that Thomas Beatie, also known as (The Pregnant Man), has given birth to a girl! Beatie, 34, who began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, while preserving his female reproductive organs, and his wife Nancy, 46, welcomed a daughter at an Oregon hospital on June 29. Some quick facts about the "pregnant man" story: - Tracy LaGondino was born a female, but had surgery to become a transgender male - Tracy's new name is Tom Beatie and he legally registered as a male with the government in order to marry his female parter. Tom is now married to Nancy Beatie - Tom and Nancy just welcomed a baby girl into their family on July 3rd. The birth is reported in the press as the first male pregnancy.
