Mutant Chronicles should have been better. I’m not sure it should have been good, but it should have been better. The film’s all digital, which allows for some post-production touches. Ron Perlman’s red robe, for example, appears to be done in post. I think the movie uses miniatures in combination with practical (though not many) and CG. It works to some degree… though I wonder if it would have looked better in black and white. 'Mutant Chronicles' Trailers Refuse to Die

In about 700 years, we will be facing an armageddon. I for one am surprised it will take that long. But at that time, mutants will have overpowered humankind, forcing the world's leaders to strongly consider evacuating Earth. It's not a bad premise for a movie, and this is the second straight trailer for The Mutant Chronicles that makes it appear not unlikely that this could be OK. Then again, the trailer for Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle kicked ass, and look what happened there. Thomas Jane Arrests
On 17 March 2008, Thomas Jane was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol for driving at "an extremely high rate of speed" on I-5. Jane was arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol level higher than .08% in Kern County, California. Jane failed several field sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer. Police also say he was driving with a suspended license.
