Former Nebraska running back Thunder Collins was convicted Monday of first-degree murder and other charges stemming from a September 2008 shooting in Omaha that left one man dead and another seriously wounded. After a shooting early Wednesday morning left one person dead, and another seriously injured, former University of Nebraska running back Thunder Collins was arrested. A warrant was issued for his arrest Wednesday morning, and shortly after Collins was arrested on charges of first-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder for his alleged involvement.
