A Paladin to me is in the words of the great Xanadu himself, " Mostly a loan wolf". Give an experienced Paladin enough supplies and he can perform almost any task solo. A Paladin can block as good as a Knight with the noted exception of the Challenge Spell, but their shielding advances at the same rate.
