I Love New York: Tiffany Pollard Shares Her Thoughts About Her Acting Aspirations

With Tiffany Pollard’s new reality series in full swing, fans are happy to see her back on television, doing what she does best—wreak havoc and instill drama. Following her long stint on reality dating games, she says it’s time to move on, and thus decided to pack her bags and head to Hollywood, where she would like to take her dramatic skills to the next level and become a full-fledged actress. Recently, the star of I Love New York and most recently, New York Goes to Hollywood, spoke to EurWeb.com to share her insights on life after her New York stints, and how she is dealing with Hollywood.

“[New York Goes to Hollywood] has a different vibe. It’s definitely New York, but it’s New York grown up,” she admits. “I had fun making [I Love New York], but I’m serious about the acting business.”

New York has definitely been bitten by the acting bug. She says that “I want my fans to know that this is a real chunk of my life, like this is my dream. You don’t know how people might receive it because...it’s different from Flavor of Love and I Love New York. Basically, I’m on a mission. I think the show is going to go over well, because I had fun doing it.”

However, everything isn’t just pure fun when it comes to moving into Hollywood. In fact, New York says that it requires a lot of hard work, too. She revealed to the LA Times that she does look up to the individuals who have already mastered the art of acting, and the business of the industry.

"For real, it's a lot of hard work and dedication. I've been slacking off, sleeping late. You have to maintain your goals, be fit," she says. "I'm practicing cold reads, taking acting classes. It's a lot of preparation. I have such a lot of respect for actors and actresses. I didn't know how much went into that career."

Looking back on her journey, New York says that there is a huge difference between who she was prior to her stint on reality TV and who she is now as an aspiring actress. She adds that it was a good experience to come back to Los Angeles as someone who is following her dreams.

"I love L.A. I lived out here before I became famous or whatever. It's good to be back," New York admits. "The first time I came out, it was more like play. This time it's more serious, about me working toward my goal: getting this acting thing going."
