Ex San Diego Charger coach Don Coryell passed away from unknown causes at age 85. The offense known as "Air Coryell" was a precursor to a lot of the offenses ran today. Coryell is known as a pioneer of the aerial attacks that he ran in the 70s and 80s with the San Diego Chargers. The Texans have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Tim Dobbins, David Canter, Dobbins’ agent, announced on Twitter. Terms were not disclosed. A 2006 fifth-round pick out of Iowa State by the San Diego Chargers, Dobbins recorded 151 tackles, one quarterback sack and two interceptions in his first four seasons in the NFL. In the same week as former Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowded was waived, the front office decided to cut ties with fellow inside linebacker Tim Dobbins.
