I don't know if you were able to force yourself through watching the second half of the Monday Night Football doubleheader the other night. Between Mike & Mike doing the play by play or the paper match up of the Oakland Raiders against the far superior San Diego Chargers, it was tough to get excited for the game.

CAPE GIRARDEAU — The president of Southeast Missouri State University said a "challenging" financial period may be on the horizon.
Ken Dobbins told the Southeast Missourian newspaper that the state used stimulus money to maintain its level of funding to public universities. In return, those universities did not raise fees as part of an agreement with Gov. Jay Nixon.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Lance Long has gingerly walked off the field after taking a hard hit from San Diego linebacker Tim Dobbins.
