Timothy Dalton Featuring In Toy Story 3
What happens when you cross James Bond, Woody and Buzz? Easy answer – Mr. Pricklepants.
If you’re wondering what the hell I’m talking about, news has emerged that Timothy Dalton will star in Pixar’s threequel – Toy Story 3!
The former James Bond star – who is also set to appear on Television screens this Christmas in a feature length Doctor Who episode – will join Tom Hanks and co. in the Toy Story sequel as Mr. Pricklepants, a toy hedgehog with thespian tendencies.
Details of how Dalton’s character fit into the story are unclear, but some are speculating that Mr. Pants could be the villain of the piece, this from Empire:
Dalton will voice Mr. Pricklepants, a hedgehog toy with thespian tendencies. How he fits into the story, we’re not sure (could he be the story’s villain?), but if Dalton is allowed to keep his accent, he will be the first Brit to grace the Toy Story franchise, unless you count Andi Peters’ cameo in Toy Story 2. But we don’t. We really, really don’t. And neither should you.
Toy Story 3 is scheduled for UK release on 23rd July 2010.
