Rutgers Running Back Joe Martinek After trailing at the half 13-10, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights stormed back to beat Maryland 34-10, scoring 24 unanswered second half points. RU scored two defensive touchdowns in a game for the first time in the Greg Schiano Era, and their stout defense produced five Maryland turnovers. Joe Martinek had two long TD runs for RU to seal the deal in the fourth quarter. The Jaguars activated rookie wide receiver Tiquan Underwood from their practice squad to the 53-man roster. Underwood was the Jaguars’ seventh-round pick in this year’s draft. He was waived on Sept. 5 and signed to the club’s practice squad the next day.
