Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 4 has been official killed. Sony Pictures has announced today they plan on rebooting the Spider-Man franchise without director Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire in 2012. The reboot will focus on a young Peter Parker who is still in high school dealing with regular teen issues while still fighting crime and super villains. People Magazine reported Monday that actor Tobey Maguire has settled a lawsuit that was seeking to claim $311,000 he won in a high-stakes Hollywood home game. Maguire will pay $80,000 to the former clients of Brad Ruderman, a man currently serving time in a Texas jail after being convicted of wire fraud and investment adviser fraud.
