AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy's four touchdown passes Saturday led second-ranked Texas to a 51-20 Big 12 Conference win over Kansas. The likely Heisman Trophy candidate completed 32-of-41 passes for 396 yards in his final home game at Austin's Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Jordan Shipley caught 10 passes for 108 yards. Malcolm Williams made six receptions for 103 yards, scoring on a 68-yard pass from McCoy in the third quarter. Tre' Newton gained 66 yards on 12 carries. The University of Kansas said Tuesday it is investigating what it calls a personnel matter concerning football coach Mark Mangino, whose team is mired in a five-game losing streak that threatens to ruin the season. Athletic director Lew Perkins met with the entire football team Monday night and Mangino, the national coach of the year in 2007, was not present. Mangino said he met with Perkins for "10 or 15 minutes" on Tuesday after Perkins issued a brief statement confirming the internal review was under way. Tyler Hansen wanted to prove that he should have been Colorado's starting quarterback all along. He sure showed he deserves to be the Buffaloes' main man from here on out. Hansen, who replaced Cody Hawkins — the coach's son — in the starting lineup, ran for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to lead Colorado to a 34-30 upset of No. 17 Kansas on Saturday night.
