Singer Toni Braxton Separates From Husband Of 8 Years

Breaking news! One of the few remaining divas, Toni Braxton, has separated from her husband of eight years.

Essence.com confirmed the separation. Toni was married to Keri Lewis of the famed band, Mint Condition. It’s sad to see love dissolve, especially since there are children involved. Toni is a spokeswoman for the Austism Speaks Foundation and getting ready for her much anticipated Atlantic Records album debut early 2010.

Not only is she dealing with her marital separation, the internet is all a buzz  this week about the “kiss”  between her and r&b crooner, Trey Songz, at the taping of the Soul Train Awards in Atlanta on November 3rd.

However, what is NOT mentioned in all the blogs is that the kiss comes at the END of the taped performance. While the kiss does look, um, “juicy,” it’s a part of the love-torn role played by Toni and Trey Songz for the duet “Yesterday.”

The full performance airs on BET on November 29th so you will have to tune in and see how this kiss REALLY isn’t a big deal. She’s an actress for pete’s sake! Remember, Broadway people??

But ladies, her body does look AMAZING to have given birth to two children. That’s how you make a comeback! THAT, should be the big deal!lol  How did she snap back so wonderfully?
