Otherwise known as tonsil stone or calculi of the tonsil. Tonsilloliths are the result of a combination of any of the following:

* food particles
* dead white blood cells
* oral bacteria
* overactive salivary glands

If you get them, you're bummed but you'll be fine. They aren't dangerous. You'll suffer from bad breath and maybe have a cough or feel like there is a seed or other small object stuck in the back of your mouth/throat.
