The Tontitown Landfill is a huge garbage dump outside of Springdale, Ark. It has come under media attention because of a Business Week article that criticizes the effectiveness of carbon offsets purchased from the dump. TerraPass has purchased thousands of tons of gas reductions on behalf of environmentally minded drivers.
