Fur Real Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup Is a Hit with Kids

Most kids want a dog at some point during their childhood. However, there are many families who aren’t able to have a pet and often for very good reasons. If it’s getting harder to say no to your child’s request for a pet, then Fur Real Friends Biscuit, My Lovin Pup by Hasbro may just be the perfect gift idea.

This adorable toy dog is the newest addition to the Fur Real Friends line of toys. It is fully interactive and is ready to entertain your child for hours straight out of the box. Biscuit comes complete with collar and tag, dog bone, brush and adoption certificate. He nods, whimpers, barks, wags his tail and more and is very convincing with his mannerisms.

And just like a real dog, Biscuit is able to recognize your child’s voice and execute six commands that include speak, sit and lie down. He also knows how to shake hands when asked, which I think is the cutest trick that he knows. And when he sits up and begs, it is sure to melt even the coldest of hearts.

A Few Things to consider

While Fur Real Friends Biscuit is an adorable toy that most children would love to have, here are a couple things you should know. At nearly two feet in height, this oversized plush toy may be difficult for smaller children to carry around. This doesn’t mean a small child won’t fully enjoy this interactive pet, but this is certainly something to think about. Biscuit also requires 6 D batteries, which you will need to remember to pick up since they are not included in the box.

How Biscuit Understands and Interacts

Biscuit has nine sensors that help him to interact with your child based on touch, movement and voice. Touching his left paw will cause him to raise it and shake hands. If he hears the command to speak, Biscuit will give a realistic bark in response. He will even responsd by flinching or blinking if something is waved in front of him due to a sensor in his forehead.

Biscuit My Lovin Pup will choose various interaction modes based upon how much interaction he is receiving. After a short while of not being interacted with, Biscuit enters “hangout” mode where he will do some cute behaviors to try to grab your attention. If he doesn’t receive some attention for a determined amount of time, he will next lay down and go to sleep.

With his many sensors and behaviors, it is not difficult to see why this sophisticated, interactive dog is considered to be one of the most innovative toys of the year. With movements and sounds that are both life-like and realistic, Fur Real Friends Biscuit, My Lovin’ Pup is sure to delight and entertain your child for a long time to come.
