Zaibatsu Banned
A recent reply by Reg “Zaibatsu” Saddler on Social News Central sparked a lot of interest in the social media world. There were invitations for interviews, mentions of revolts, consoling words, outrage, and the occasional basher all throughout the comments.
Digg buried the story.
Fast.
After a questionable pair of submissions from a questionable site, Zaibatsu was banned. It seems to be happening a lot lately. Still, he sent in a request for reinstatement that was polite and apologetic. Here is their reply:
Hello R.J.,
Thanks for contacting us at Digg.com. At this time, we are unable to remove the ban on your account.
–Digg Support
Wow. Not much there. Considering he has submitted over 4000 stories and had over 1500 reach the front page, you would think they could be a little more forgiving.
