Rolling Stone writer Lorraine Ali toured with Lilith Fare and wrote a hysterically funny, behind-the-scenes story about the all-girl tour. Lorraine Ali interviewed a testy Sarah McLachlan, a stuck-up Jewel and a shy Tracy Chapman while traveling down the West Coast from Seattle to L.A. with the artists. The story, which ran right around the kick off of the first Lilithfare, was one of Lorraine Ali 's earlier writings, but it's still sharp and witty (you can find it at: http://www.about-tracychapman.net/articles_backstageatlilith.htm.)
