According to Wikipedia.org: The Toyota Celica Supra is a sports car / grand tourer produced by Toyota Motor Company starting in 1979. The styling of the Toyota Celica Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica. Starting in mid-1986, the Supra became its own model and was no longer based on the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and began just calling the car Supra. Due to the similarity and past of the Toyota Celica's name, it is frequently mistaken for the Toyota Supra, and vice versa.
X-Games and Supra link up on one of Supra’s newest models the TK Society. The colorful sneaker was originally slated for a friends and family release but will see a limited run of 600 pairs per color release. No word yet on an exact release date other than taking place in late November. The shoes will be available at Factory413 .

On top of the X-Games colorway we showed you yesterday, images of a new Gold/Silver version of the Supra TK Society have hit the web. Similar to the popular Chad Muska Gold/Silver Supra Skytop from 2007, Silver is used for the tail end of the sneaker, while Gold takes control of the front. No word on any specific release details, apparently the model was showcased along side Supra’s Holiday 2009 collection before being promptly removed from their website… perhaps a surprise limited release... A while back we previewed you with a collaboration between Supra and X-Games but they where only set to be a Family and Friends release. Well as soon as pictures hit the internet sneaker heads where wishing they where released to the public. Ever since images of the X-Games TK Society hit the web back in July, many Supra fans have been holding their breath in anticipation of a potential release. Lucky for them, word has it that the neon high-tops will hitting Factory 413 in late November. A limited release of 600 pairs per colorway, the kicks definitely won’t stay on shelves for long, so you’d better keep you eyes peeled for more information as it becomes available.

Supra’s TK Society has been taking ankle heights to new levels, and taking much of the market as well. We were on hand in Houston for the release party and people were copping the other colorways left and right.
