What a difference a season makes. Last year, during the Tennessee Titans' league-leading 13-3 regular season, including the 10-0 streak they ran off to start it, the running back tandem of Smash-n-Dash—LenDale White and Chris Johnson, respectively—ran roughshod over opposing defenses, gaining a combined 2,001 yards rushing with 24 touchdowns between them. Opposing defenses beware: Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans is a running back to be taken very seriously. The way Chris Johnson dashes downfield, it seems like his blockers have easy jobs. Not really. The Tennessee Titans won't be streaking their way into the postseason. They aren't giving up even if the playoff math is complicated at the least and improbable at best. Call it the lesson learned from 2006. That year, the Titans started out 0-5 and still had a chance at a wild-card berth on the final day if three teams lost and they won.  

Peyton Manning keeps finding new winning formulas, and the Colts keep making history. Instead of another patented comeback or impressive air show, Manning opened December by playing keepaway from Tennessee and leading the Colts to a 27-17 victory for their record-tying 21st consecutive regular-season win.
