Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdown passes in an increasingly wide-open Pittsburgh offense and the Steelers benefited from a debatable first-down measurement to beat the rival Browns 27-14 on Sunday, their 12th consecutive victory against their oldest rival.  

After a rocky start with another kick-off return for a touchdown, the Steelers have started to put it all together.  The Steelers haven't allowed any points on defense and Ben Roethlisberger has thrown two touchdowns.  Hopefully Pittsburgh will close this one out with some more solid running from Rashard Mendenhall who has looked great so far today! Pittsburgh Steelers backup quarterback Charlie Batch injured his left wrist after replacing Ben Roethlisberger during an overtime loss in Kansas City and could miss the rest of the regular season. Batch was hurt despite playing only four plays in the Steelers' 27-24 loss -- his first game action since 2007.

That thin air in Denver just got a little thinner for the Steelers' defense with the news that Travis Kirschke almost surely will not play Monday night, and he could miss more time.
