Throughout the course of his decade of service with the Kansas City Chiefs, G Brian Waters has always displayed a generous heart. One example that shines through is his work with the Love Fund. Annually, Waters purchases tickets to each Chiefs home game for these youth. However, the football experience doesn’t end when the final whistle sounds. Later in the month, Waters invites these very same children from the Love Fund back to Arrowhead for a pizza party and behind-the-scenes tour. Another successful collaboration between Waters and the Love Fund was renewed earlier this week. Kansas City Chiefs - Chiefs & G Brian Waters ... Read Full Story

View full size photo uploaded June 8, 2009 I'm peeking out my Alexandria hotel room window right now and the Washington, DC, "skyline" is unfolding in front of me. Very beautiful. Almost makes me wish I lived here again. Almost. The Kansas City Chiefs ' 2009 mandatory minicamp concluded yesterday and while I was at a wedding here in DC, Primetime lit it up with his coverage. Just amazing work. I've also ... Read Full Story

"I tell ya I get no respect from anyone. I bought a cemetery plot. The guy said, 'There goes the neighborhood!'"  Now deceased, comedian Rodney Dangerfield gives Kansas City Chiefs fans a perspective to identify with.  Following up on my gamecap coverage of our team’s first win, I found the KC Chief community flooded by articles not about the red and gold…well, a different red and gold, anyway. The influx of new articles are solely about the...

This past Sunday, head coach Todd Haley and his Chiefs put another nail in the coffin of Jim Zorn as Washington's head coach. This week, the previously winless Haley has an opportunity to do the same thing to another coach on the hotseat in San Diego's Norv Turner. The 2-3 Chargers have disappointed thus far, and all eyes are on Turner. For Turner, who was fired after encountering similar situations in his previous head coaching stops in...
