LAS VEGAS, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Jacob Pullen's 28 points and six rebounds Saturday led Kansas State in a 95-80 upset of 17th-ranked Nevada-Las Vegas. It was UNLV's first loss after a 7-0 start. KSU led 42-34 at the half and stretched it to 67-45 on Denis Clemente's 3-pointer with 14:04 left, making the Rebels play catch-up until the end. Clemente scored 22 with nine assists. The Cardinals (4-1) used a 30-11 run to overcome a 53-34 deficit with 14:05 remaining, tying the score at 64-64 on Rakeem Buckles' basket with 4:24 left. Bellfield answered with six straight points, and the Runnin' Rebels (5-0) managed to hang on in a game they never trailed. Buckles scored eight of his 10 points during Louisville's tying run. Foster was on crutches and in a cast because of a broken bone in his right foot that will require surgery soon.
