"Futurama" is shaping up well with the announcement that the original voice cast are all returning to their seats. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- The creators of the U.S. TV series say they are thrilled the animated show's five original voice actors have agreed to stay on. creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen praised the new deals reached by 20th Century Fox TV and series cast members John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille, Variety reported Friday. Matt Groening 's Futurama will return to TV next year, although it will have a new home. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Comedy Central would air a full season's worth of new episodes - 26 in all - and at the time, there was a suggestion that the original voice cast would be back on board. The cast of Futurama have been axed from the new series due to air on Comedy Central in mid-2010, after the network and cast were unable to meet the salary demands. Auditions will be held to replace the voices of John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Billy West, Tress MacNeille and Katey Sagal.
