The Bulldogs knows how to motivate their players. All the players took part in a Club Christmas Triathlon in Melbourne, Australia today and they were all determined to claim the $1000 prize for the winning team. The players were divided into three teams of 15 and put through two blocks of training with 15 minute cycling, swimming and running legs. "The boys say it's just a training session but deep down inside, they really wanted to win."

Seven years ago, the Fighting Illini Triathlon team, or FIT, came together to form a triathlon training group. For the past two years, FIT has been functioning as an official club sport at the University.
