Ladies Love Outlaws

Is it true, ladies love outlaws? Or is it just a popular myth we as convicts choose to believe? All I know is, I love the ladies and I hope they all still love me. Yes, it’s true. I’m an outcast from society and I do have a nasty reputation for things that are sometimes considered obscene. But does that make me a bad person? Does it mean that I have totally lost my ability to love? I say not. I’m just another outlaw with my gun belt slung way down low hoping and waiting for the day I’ll be set free. One who broke society’s laws and got the short end of the stick in court. Hot for the game and living life in the fast lane, I just refused to learn. Simple as that. But does that mean ladies don’t love me? Again, I don’t think so. Ladies love outlaws and like Jesse James, Doc Holiday and John Wesley Hardin before me, I’m a true bandit of the heart through and through.

Yes, I’ve been known to cheat from time to time. And, I’ve spent my share of days in the proverbial doghouse. I can’t say I’ve been perfect. And I cer­tainly can’t say I’ve always been true. But no matter how bad a boy I’ve been, I seemed to have led a charmed life where the ladies are concerned. Because no matter how many times I temporarily strayed, how rotten I acted, or how many times I came home late. I’ve always received forgiveness. And the lady of my dreams, who knew better, always came back as long as I expressed my want, need and desire for her love. With my afraid-of-nothing attitude and never-think-twice-if-it-means-to-rescue-her way, it proves that ladies do love outlaws. And I, the all infamous Tripper, a man lovelorn and haggard, stranded here behind bars, am set to love you and only you.

With my three day beard and rough and rugged exterior, I still possess a heart of gold. The nobile ultimate protector of a lady’s honor and virtue, I proudly wear black leather as lawlessness oozes from my pores. Please overlook the coarseness in my features. As my heart, the center of my affectionate spirit, flows with sympathy, affection and understanding of the soul. Never wanting to live or be alone, my search goes on for the everlasting beauty of my dreams. The lady in search of her outlaw. The one who has a special place in her heart for the sinner, the malefactor, yet the ultimate gentleman and lover in threefold disguise. Is it true ladies love outlaws? If so, where is mine?

Fifteen calendar years in federal prison. Have I, the outlaw, lost my passion for life and love? Never! Emotional excitement, ardor and vehement warmth for the female companion shall forever continue to pump through my veins! Where is that one gorgeous enchantress I need to help see me through? She’s out there. I just know it. She knows who she is. The lady who loves the modern day outlaw. The slightly impure seductress who has a weakness in heart for someone like me. The attraction is there - drawing, pulling, gravitating to me! The allure, the fascinating, the all mighty temptation seethes within her heart just waiting for the right moment to spring forward and profess her love for the felon! The culprit! The keeper of heart eternal forevermore! Yes, ladies love outlaws. And my special lady is somewhere out there waiting for me.

Could it perhaps be I was once a famous outlaw lover in a previous life forlorn? One reincarnated to return to this day and age to seek priceless affection from the lady lover of the criminal Don Juan? I don’t know. I’m not exactly sure. But what I do know is … the intrigue I feel for romance! That which has fascinated me through this life. The love in my heart that must find a recipient! She’s out there! I know she is. Then, there’s the timeless question that haunts me. “Is love blind?” I say not! Although the course of true love has never ran smooth (quoting Shakespeare) for me, I know there’s a lady out there somewhere who can truly “see”. And she’s the one for me, the outlaw. Me and only me! Do ladies love outlaws? The question thus remain. Maybe before I finish these last five years in prison, I’ll be able to tell everyone … ladies do love outlaws! And there is ONE who unequivocally, unconditionally, without a shadow of a doubt truly loves me! I’m Tripper! A lost soul on an endless search for love. Better Days!
