On Wednesday we had 4 three setter matches at the Brisbane International..

Amelie Mauresmo, 5th seed, had a very tough time on court against Julie Coin. The former number 1 needed to battle during 3 sets and save match points tor each the quarterfinals.
She was not the only seeded player that had problems in Brisbane today. Ana Ivanovic top seed, also needed to come back from a set behind to defeat Roberta Vinci.

Sara Errani continues her good start of the season after scoring a 3 set win over Tsvetana Pironkova.
