Hi All, I was diagnoised of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in August 2009. My doctor prescribed medicines for nearly 8 months. During my last visit to him, I was told that 98% of scars in the lungs are cured. I want to know what is my status in medical terms. Am I considered as a TB patient, or a person with LATENT TB, or a person with OLD PTB ? Any doctor in the forum, please advice.
