NEW YORK, Sep 11, 2009 / FW/ — The Twinkle by Wenlan Spring 2010 collection was clearly an artistic presentation full of clashing geometric prints that successfully came together as one flattering ensemble. The majority of the looks included leggings full of graphic pattern making it seem as though art deco was painted on their legs. Seemingly inspired by urban life and modern art, designer Wenlan Chia used a lot of primary colors and toned it down with black and white prints. Twinkle by Wenlan maintains the reputation of a wonderfully wearable line, and with good reason: the Spring 2010 collection is full of color, texture, and a feminine playfulness that fans of designer Wenlan Chia are sure to adore. Even more luminous: the hair and makeup looks sported by the models. Lips were painted a bright orange hue (thanks to Gianpaola Ceciliato for MAC), nails painted a glossy white, and hair styled with plenty of tousled volume (John Ruidant for Redken).
