The unbeaten Colts will be without starting linebacker Tyjuan Hagler for the rest of the season due to a ruptured biceps. Coach Jim Caldwell said Hagler was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Second-year linebacker Philip Wheeler and undrafted rookie Ramon Humber are expected to replace Hagler. Indy also will promote rookie linebacker Cody Glenn to the active roster from the practice squad. Hagler was fourth on the Colts with 36 tackles. Running back Donald Brown (shoulder) and cornerback Marlin Jackson (strained ACL) were expected to practice Wednesday. Caldwell did not say whether they would play against Houston this weekend. After years of very little change the Colts will have to adjust to life after Dungy. If anybody is capable of handling a new Coach, it’s Peyton Manning. He’s still slinging the pigkin and the Offense won’t change drastically. Joseph Addai will once again be the feature back. Dominic Rhodes is an Unrestricted Free Agent, but I suspect he’ll be back. Reggie Wayne, Anthony Gonzalez, and Dallas Clark will once again be at Peyton’s disposal. Marvin Harrison may not. Either way WR is probably a position that gets upgraded in the draft. We have a new No. 1 in the NFL, and it should come as no surprise that the Colts' recent slew of victories over Houston, New England, and Baltimore is enough to push them just ahead of the Saints for the top spot. Playing the spectacular new Madden NFL 10, I realized that we are one of the only teams without alternative jerseys. Among some teams closet full of alternates are throwbacks that we just can't wear for obvious reasons. However, it seems that some teams get excited debuting their alternates, not to mention, it gives fans a new look. My opinion is along with the great new line of colts black (and blue/white) gear, should come a super awesome...
