Tyler Bray, Top Prospect, Switches Commitment to Vols

Tyler Bray is one of the highest ranked quarterback prospects out there, with many teams hope to recruit the Kinsburg, CA teen to play a little college ball. However, the Tennessee Volunteers seem to have won the allegiance of the QB, who announced today he would be playing for the Vols starting next season.

Bray had previously been committed to a school closer to home, and had planned to head to San Diego State. But a visit to Tennessee, and a glimpse of football mania in the South, seemed to change Bray's mind. Speaking to ESPN, Bray said "They say football is a religion in the South and that's definitely true. The fan support and how passionate everyone is just blew me away. I love the coaching staff and the energy everyone has there."

Bray gained national notice after grabbing the Most Valuable Player trophy at an Elite 11 camp. According to reports out of the camp, the Vols were impressed enough to offer the player a scholarship on the spot.
