Tyne Daly is heading back to Broadway in the spring as Maria Callas in a new Broadway production of Terrence McNally's play "Master Class."
The Manhattan Theatre Club announced Wednesday that Daly will reprise the role of the diva reminiscing on triumphs and tragedies that she played at The Kennedy Center last spring.

Tyne Daly opens officially in Terrence McNally's Master Class, reprising the role of Maria Callas that she has played in Washington, DC and on Broadway last year, at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre Feb. 7, following previews that began Jan. 21. It is booking for a 14-week run only through April 28.
