The band has won 22 Grammy awards, more than any other recording artist.
What can be said about U2 that is not common knowledge? U2 is playing tonight (and again tomorrow) at Giant's Stadium as a part of their " No Line on the Horizon " summer tour.
Although "No Line on the Horizon" was slammed by critics, the album has sold one million copies since its release on March 3. I'm so confused; who out there is still legally buying music? Between this and Jay-Z apparently 1,750,000 people...

After taking a lot of criticism for their ostentatious and overpriced " 360 Tour, " U2 broke its own attendance record.
Last week, U2 performed at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California to a record-breaking crowd of 97,014 people. This show broke the previous record of 86,145 concert attendees by a single headliner which was held by U2 for their "Joshua Tree Tour" show in Philadelphia.
