Q: Hey Dez, Love all the work you do with our Huskies up there in Storrs. I've got a quick question. My friends and I were sitting around trying to think of some unique Husky Traditions for the football team. We've got Big Red at the basketball games and we were hoping to have the same sort of thing at the Rent. So, last game my pal Dave would rip his shirt off and sprint to the top of the upper deck to lead the U!C!O!N!N! chant for everyone...

Here is a release from the UConn communications office about plans for a special day honoring one of the great teams in women's basketball history.
The honoring of UConn's 2000 National Championship team will be the second induction of an entire team (players and coaches) into Connecticut's "Huskies of Honor" program. The 1995 NCAA National Championship UConn women's basketball squad was inducted into the "Huskies of Honor" last season.
