One year ago today, Blanca made some gutsy predictions for 2008 . Many thought Blanca was crazy for placing her reputation on the line like this. But I always figured if I was royally wrong, I could just go back and change the original posting, to make it look like I was right all along . It's not like anyone could go back and see for themselves . It is time to take a look at those predictions and see how close she was. First, let me remind you of those predictions: Hillary Clinton will not get the Democratic nomination. Rudy Giuliani will not ... Read Full Story

The day after the evening of the DAY, I woke up feeling a little surreal. I knew something momentous had happened that had captured everyone’s attention, something neither horrific, like 9/11, terrible, like the financial meltdown (admittedly an ongoing discussion) nor strange and superficial, like Susan Lucci’s weird goodbye speech on “Dancing with the Stars” . I dotn think so. When women wanted to enter american society and vote, they ... Read Full Story

Well folks, if there was ever a reason in this country to administer a mass morning-after pill to this country, it was last night. I can't say I'm stunned by the results of the election. It was pretty apparent early on that the majority of America was more concerned with their perceived pocket book shortages and changing history than they were with defending this country and what it stands for. My hope, and failing, was that I still had faith in the majority of this country. Now some will say, that is a pretty bitter statement, and your right. But I'm not somebody who ... Read Full Story
