The McCain Campaign and its allies have begun an unprecedented nationwide negative campaign that uses robocalls, direct mail, and other techniques to quietly poison voters' information with lies and fear tactics.

Here’s the truth: Barack Obama will reduce taxes for 95 percent of American workers and their families. If you make under $250,000 a year, you will not see an increase in your income tax rate, capital gains tax rate or dividend tax rate.

Barack Obama understands that abortion is a divisive issue, and respects those who disagree with him. Obama is committed to reducing abortions. At a presidential debate this year, Barack said: “There surely is some common ground when both those who believe in choice and those who are opposed to abortion can come together and say, ‘We should try to prevent unintended pregnancies by providing appropriate education to our youth, communicating that sexuality is sacred and that they should not be engaged in cavalier activity, and providing options for adoption, and helping single mothers if they want to choose to keep the baby.’”

From the following organizations: Republican National Committee and McCain-Palin campaign
In the following locations: Missouri, Virginia, Iowa, Florida
Description: This ridiculous mailer paid for be the RNC uses the threat of terrorism to drum up fears about Barack. This kind of attack piece is the lowest form of politics, but McCain is still “absolutely” proud of the piece.

Sen. John McCain this week gave his personal stamp of approval to one of the toughest pieces of direct mail in the 2008 campaign.

The brochure, which is being sent to voters in Virginia and Missouri, features a picture of what is either a plane about to crash into a building full of people or an airport departure gate, along with the words: "Terrorists Don't Care Who They Hurt."

The other side of the mailer says: "Barack Obama Thinks Terrorists Just Need a Good Talking To."

Controversial? Yes. But is McCain proud of it? Absolutely, according to an interview McCain gave to KDSD, a local television station in Missouri.

In the interview, McCain is shown the flier and asked if he's proud of it. "Absolutely," he said.

Description:
This mailer uses scare tactics to drum up fears about Barack.

The truth is Barack Obama has a plan to keep America safe — from conducting tough diplomacy, to securing our borders and protecting our ports. Barack has endorsed a foreign policy based on tough diplomacy, where diplomacy is used to negotiate with other nations to best keep America safe. Five former Secretaries of States, including Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, and Madeline Albright have agreed with Barack’s plan of smart but tough diplomacy.
