Arizona was very kind to me last weekend turning a half time deficit into a huge victory over the California Golden Bears. They play a much better team in Tucson this Saturday in the USC Trojans. Although I don't have enough guts to call the upset in this, I do believe that the 'Cats should keep it close against a Trojans team that sometimes doesn't show up against opponents they look down on. OJ Mayo just couldn't resist could he? Mayo, a college freshman standout at USC, accepted free NBA tickets to last night's Lakers vs. Nuggets game and may have violated an NCAA rule. The tickets, given to him him by Carmelo Anthony are valued at $230 a piece, were near mid-court and easily over the limit on what a college athlete should be accepting.
