We review equipment, books and other items that will help you be ready in the event of an earthquake, hurricane or other disaster (natural or man made). I realize Hurricane Gustav bearing down on the Gulf of Mexico area, with Hanna and a few tropical depressions after that, being ready is critical. Last week I was in Portland for a meeting. All went well with the flight up and travel to Eugene. Went to this funky brew pub and had dinner (don’t bother ordering their Southwest burger if you are looking for something with some fire to it!)
