Valerie Bertinelli shows off her slim and fit body in a string bikini on the cover of People magazine. Bertinelli, 48 has lost a whooping 50 pounds! Now Valerie’s got her bikini body back and she’s sharing it with the world.

Wow, that’s definitely some heavy duty weight loss. Bertinelli, the ex-wife of rocker, Eddie Van Halen  has become a spokesperson for the Jenny Craig weight-loss program.

“She wanted to get her bikini body back, and now that she has it, she’s sharing it with the whole world!” People senior editor Galina Espinoza told “Today.”

According to Espinoza, Bertinelli wants to spread the message that women “can change anything they want to change—[at] any time.”

The Bertinelli quote is, “It’s never too late to get your body back!”

Valerie is currently promoting her new autobiography, Losing It—And Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time, which culminates in a description of her Jenny Craig experience. Besides weight loss, Valerie also dishing about her cheating on Van Halen, drug use, her dating Steven Spielberg and so forth. Heck, she looks happy and she looks amazing that’s what matters. Who doesn’t have baggages?
